Remembrance Day and Veterans Day

Today my friend invited me to attend a service with her and her husband on SBMA. It was service for the end of the First World War. To tell you the truth I did not know their was a first World War until a few days ago. But the service was very moving I nearly cried. God bless all the soldiers who die for us. Two days to go to my Birthday:-) This is a simple picture of me at Boracay when I was their visiting my brother.

Fun And Games

After I finished work today I went with my friend and her little boy to a small park that has some rides for kids. It was great fun watching her sun laughing and really enjoying life like a child should. Today was a good day and I only have 4 days to go until my birthday:-)

The Day After

It was a nice night outing last night, all the places where full of people it was the busiest I have seen the bars for a very long time. Us girls spent the night just chatting, their was no games going on in the bars so it was left up to us girls to create our own fun because all the girls husbands and boyfriends split up into groups and talked sports and girls:-)
So that meant a lot of jokes and laughter and friendly banter between us girls. And guess what? I did not have one alcoholic drink. yeeeaahh
I had a lot of fun today at my weekly webcam show I cannot wait for next week show it should be a lot of fun too.

Another Night In Paradise

Tonight I am going out with friends for a girlfriends husbands birthday, it coming the norm with my friends who are married or are girlfriends of foreigner to do a barhop when it is one of their birthdays. I love going because they are a real lot of fun with plenty of laughs.
I will tell you all about it tomorrow.

Kids

Today I have just been working and tonight I went with my friends to a place that have carnival rides for kids. Two of my friends have small children so I went to help them keep an eye on them in the crowds as it can be dangerous. It was a lot of fun watching the kids on the rides and yes us girls where like small children too:-) We all took turns taking the kids on the rides I don't know who had more fun the kids or us adults:-)

Just Another Day

Just working today, nothing major happened although my friend txt me today and asked me if I want to go out with her and her husband this coming Saturday night because it is one of our other girlfriends husbands birthday, so of course I said yes:-) About 20 min after my friends txt me, my friend whose husband birthday it is Saturday, called me herself to make sure I was going to come, I told her yes I was and I was really looking forward to all of us girls getting together again. My friend said that about 20 people will be getting together for drinks and a bar hop. It should be a lot of fun. My birthday is coming sooooon:-) But at this stage nothing planned.

My Birthday is Coming Up

Today we had another brown out from 8.30am to 4pm so I went to lunch with a couple of friends, it was really nice, I had chicken condon bliu with mash potatoes and vegetables, masarap(delicious)
November is my favorite month, can you guess why? Yeahhhh coz my birthday is this month on the 13th. I have 10 days to go. Yippppeeeee

Can't Wait For Next Year

After the last couple of days, I decided today I will just relaxes and catch up on emails and some work that I have been putting off. I have not stopped talking about Halloween with my sister and cousin and next year they too want to dress up and go out barhopping. I can't wait for next year. It was my best night out for a long time.

All Souls Day

I had a great time going out last night, It was so much fun dressing up for Halloween. We barhopped 6 bars and it was amazing how many of the girls went to a lot of trouble dressing up, some of their costumes where great and looked really scary. I wore my black nurses uniform and I have to say I did look sexy. Over the next week I will post some great pictures I go from last night. I am so happy and I love Halloween.
Yesterday my sister could not do her weekly webcam show because of girl problems so my beautiful and cousin and me done her show for her.
All souls day here in the Philippines is a deeply religious holiday with most filipinos spending the day at the cemetery visiting love ones and praying. Because I am a long way from home and I can't go to the cemetery with my parents, Tera, my cousin and me have made a little shrine in our house with pictures of love ones who have passed, we lit candles and put food and drinks out for them so they will not go hungry or thirsty, We also took turns praying for the souls. That ends todays lesson in Philippine culture:-)

Today has just been a day of catching up on work, even though I have been gone just a week so muck has been piling up and I still have to answer my emails, someone help me pleassseeeee, hehehe

MY FRIEND

Today I have spent the day shopping and buying pasalubongs (gifts) for my sister Tera and my cousin. I have had a really great time with Cherry and I am not ready to go home but I have to go home because so much work is piling up. We never got as many photo shoots as we would have liked but the weather was not good as you all know with the typhoon but it was a lot of fun spending time with Cherry, I have to go home tomorrow and I know it is going to be sad saying good bye to Cherry, we have not known each other for very long but we have become very close friends very fast, she is a great girl who is not only very beautiful to look at but also a very beautiful person on the inside too.

Swimming Naked

Wow I had so much fun last night with Cherry, it was great. I have spent a really great few days with Cherry and I loved our weekly webcam show that we did together last Sunday. Last night we had a few wines together and cuddled up in bed until about 11am this morning. After we had a little breakfast we went skinny dipping in the pool while it was raining, it was the first time I go swimming naked and wow was it fun:-)

TYPHOON

Their is a typhoon hitting the Philippines at the moment, their is so much rain that you cannot see more then a few meters in front of you sometimes. It is a little scary when the wind is strong but my sister and I stay in our place, we do not go outside coz it might be dangerous.
Tomorrow I have to travel to see Cherry so I hope the typhoon does not cause a big problem. We where hoping to get some really nice out door shoots together but that looks unlikely now because of the typhoon but hopefully we will be able to do photo shoots still but just indoors.
I might be a little slow up dating my blog this week as I am hoping to travel to see Cherry early tomorrow morning.

Success!

Yeahhhhhhh Success! My weekly webcam show went off with no problems. I had a lot of fun with my members and my friends. I was worried because of the problems I have been having with my connection. But not everything is perfect coz now I am having problems again with my email. If it is not one thing then it is another but that is life here in the Philippines but I am happy about my show so
I am in love again with my computer:-)

Another boring day but the rain has gone for the moment. I am really looking forward to my weekly webcam show tomorrow and touch wood that I will have no problems with my internet connection. Today just working, did not go out of the house today because of the rain, very boring. I just tried my best to catch up on work but the rain was so hard it was very hard to listen to music or to concentrate. If you have never been to the Philippines or to the tropics, it is hard to describe the rain other then monsoonal.

Friends and Catching Up.

I am really excited today coz a friend who I have not seen for 2 yrs is coming to visit me. It was just one of those things we just sort of went our separate ways, always promising to catch up but never it seems finding the time to get together but about a week ago she contacted me and we have been txting everyday and yesterdays she said she does not have work for a couple of days so I invited her to come visit and she said yes. She wants to go barhopping so I am sure we will get a little drunk coz she loves to party and to dance.
Oh yeah I forgot to tell you about last Saturday night, it was really fun with lots of laughs. We went to 4 bars and the girls where really sexy, one girl was very beautiful and very aggressive and for whatever reason she took a shine to me and she was always touching me and telling me what she would like to do to me if she had me on my own, I have to admit it got me a little horny:-) I got some pictures so I will share them with you over the next few days, this picture is of a really close friend of mine who is a single mama of a sweet little girl.

NO INTERNET ALL WEEKEND

I cannot believe this, I have no internet from 5pm Saturday afternoon until 8am today. I am so disappointed and angry. My sister Tera and I could not do our weekly webcam show because no dsl connection. I try to log on to my computer at 5pm Saturday and no connection, I ring up dsl support and they say the will fixes it right away but nothing happen until this morning at 8am. It times like these that I realize that the Philippines truly is 3rd world country. waaaaa
I want to apologize to all my friends and members who would have been waiting for my sister and me. I hope you understand and are not too angry with me.
I am sorry:-(

Catching Up With Friends, Maybe:-)

My friend txt me and tell me that her little boy was awake all night crying with very high temperature and she say it very hard to give him the medicine coz he not like so he keep spitting out. I tell me friend that if she needs me I will go stay with her for a few days and help her with her baby but she says she is ok coz her mama is coming to stay to help her.
Tonight I have been invited to go out for a few drinks with friends, I really don't feel like going out but I have not seen these friends for a while so I suppose I will have to make the effort and go out even if only for a one or two hrs.

Measles

My friend came and visited me today who has a 2yr old little boy, I have told you about them before. It looked like her little boy had a rash all over his body. My friend did not have any money to take him to the doctor so I said to her I would pay. We went to the doctor and the doctor said he had measles. He is a very sick little boy. I feel so sorry and so helpless. He is covered in spots and he is so hot. We went to the drug store where I buy his medicine, my friend say she will pay me back but Iknow she not have the money to do that, all of her salary goes on food and milk for her little boy. Here in the Philippines you have to be so careful with things like that because children here still die from measles and many other childhood diseases.

My Brother In Manila

EXCITED

Tomorrow I am so excited to see my brother, he is the same brother that I went to Boracay with. He is coming to Manila for 3 days only to do a seminar for his job. I am the eldest and he is the 2nd eldest and we have always been very close. I am so proud of him with his work and what he has been able to achieve in such a short time.
But I am also disappointed about not doing my webcam show as I really enjoy interacting with my friends. Interacting is a big word for me hehehe I just find out today what that means:-)

This Sunday webcam show cancelled

This Sunday my brother is coming to Manila for a 3 day seminar for his work, so my sister Tera and I are going to meet him and spend the day with him as Sunday will be the only day he is free before he heads back home. This means this Sunday webcam show for both Tera and myself will be cancelled. I am sorry to my friends but I hope you all understand that I do not get to see my brother that often and this is a chance my sister and I cannot pass up.

I am still getting over the flu so not much is happening. Still working though but my heart is not in it because my throat is so sore.

We went out and even though I was sick I had fun, I forget how big a joker one of my friends can be. She had us all in tears with her jokes and the way she carried on trying to copy the girls on stage.

Sick But Going Out

I promised my friends if I was feeling better that tonight we would go barhopping. At about 6pm I was still really sick but I felt guilty that my friends had come all this way to visit me but also to go out together and have fun andf all we have done is sit in the house and watch TV so even though I am still really sick we decided to go out even if only for an hr.

I AM SICK

Today I am feeling much worse. My head is constantly aching and my throat is so sore from coughing. Three of my friends said that they are coming here tonight and are going to stay with me for 2 nights. Before I was so excited to see my friends but not now, I not need my friends I need my mama to take care of me, waaaaa One of my friends is bringing her little girl who is nearly 4 and I am scared that I will give her the flu. I tell my friend that I am sick so maybe better another time but my friends say it is ok and that maybe them being here will help me feel better.
My friends said that they will arrive by 9pm but I am so tired and sick I cannot wait, I have to go to bed and my sister Tera will wait them.

The Flu and Shopping

Today I am not feeling good, my head is aching and I have small fever and my throat is so sore. I think I am coming down with the flu, waaaaa

I go out this afternoon to buy some grocery and some meat. I go to to fresh Option and buy some pork and chicken. Fresh option here is a butcher shop that sells meat like PORK, BEEF and CHICKEN. I never buy my meat from the market coz the market is very unhygienic with flies all over the meat.

Tonight I am feeling worse, I need my mama to take care of me like she did when I am small child.

Maybe with a good night sleep I will feel better.

BE CAREFUL

Saturday night I found out some really bad news, remember about 5 weeks ago I told you all that I went to engagement party? Where an Australian was getting engaged to a filipina and I said to you all then that the Australian was a lovely person but I not sure about the filipina. (Check out my blog August 13, 14 and 15) Guess what? He already catch her cheating and they are separated already. Apparently even at their engagement party she was txting another man and planning to meet him, how can you do that? I cannot believe it. I really hate filipina's who are liars and scammer, they make me so angry! I know this girl was a bar girl but most of the girls who work in the bar, are only looking for a better life and to find some good man to love them but a percentage of the girls are real scammers and are bad news. Foreigners have to be so careful coz it is very hard to tell the scammer from the good girl. But when I first meet this girl I had a feeling that she was bad and she could not be trusted, my friend and I both said at the time that this will never last she is only after him for the money. I suppose in one respect he is lucky that he finds out so soon instead of in a year or two and she has scammed him of a lot more money. (She already scammed him for lot of money already)
If I see her I will have to control myself coz I feel like slapping her face. SO MANY GIRLS HERE WOULD GIVE ANYTHING TO HAVE WHAT SHE HAVE AND SHE JUST THROW IT AWAY.GRRRRRR

Tonight

Tomorrow is my weekly webcam chat so I hope all my friends can visit me for that. But I am excited to go out tonight with my friends, since yesterday another 3 friends and the husbands or boyfriends are also going to be going out with us. I felt a little strange as I am the only one who is single but my friends told me not to be silly just come out and enjoy yourself because the men usually sit in a group and talk and us girls always sit together so we can gossip and make jokes.  Apparently one of the bars is having a beauty contest so that should be fun.

Kids and Merry Go Rounds

After I finished work today I went to the mall with my sister and another friend who has a little boy. I have told you about them before. It was a lot fun because both my sister and I adore my friend son. He is only two but such a big grown up boy for his age. At the mall they had small rides for him to go on so for nearly an hour we sat their and watched him laugh we joy riding every ride he could get on. I love nothing better then to spend time with family and friends.
