Home Will Always Be Negros

Tomorrow I travel home to Negros Occidental which you already know is my home province. First I travel to Manila and from Manila I will fly to Bacolod. I love flying although I have not done very much. Only to visit my family when I save the fare. Going by boat now is very hard for me as it takes so long, more than 1 day on ferry then when I arrive in Bacolod I have to travel by bus to my parents home. The plane takes just one hour and I am already in Negros. Foreigners say travelling in the Philippines is very cheap but to me it is still very expensive. I am so excited to see all my family. I am at my happiest when I know I am going home. I am simple person so I love simple things like spending as much time as I can with my parents and my lola. My papa say they plan a celebration when I get home so many of my family will be there. Filipinos never miss opportunity for free food:-) OK I will end here as I still have much to prepare. God bless always

I will see my brother Jimboy but not my other brother Robert because he is away working. My Lola will be happy to see me. I love her so much. Lola means grandmother. We now have water connected to our small nippa hut although the water it is not connected to inside our home but we use a hose in the kitchen. My father just build a toilet for us outside. I am so excited to see all the ch ages. OK it getting late and I have so much to prepare. Until next time!

Thank God It Stop Raining

Today was the first day of sunshine in a week of torrential rain. So you know what that means? Yep your right washing day again yeah hehehe. After the washing we try to enjoy the sunshine by having lunch outside. It was a beautiful day although not much sunshine but after a week of rain any day without rain is beautiful. Tonight we all watched Katherine Heigle movie 27 Dresses it was funny but also sad. I suppose you would call it a real chicks movie hehehe See I am learning. It was fun though because my sister and cousin was there and also 3 girlfriends came over to watch it with us so we had a small picnic with pancit and spaghetti. Afterwards we all sat around and each one of us, took turns telling about how we would like to have a dream wedding one day too and of course we where all each others bridesmaids and so on. Okay that enough chick stuff for one diary entry time for bed. Bye bye

Rainy Season

The rainy season has begun with 5 days now of torrential rains. I wonder with sadness how long before the mudslides and the deaths start to occur. Every year during rainy season in the Philippines so many people die during this time. There are so many deaths here because of mudslides which happen because in most caese of illegal logging. It is always the same it is the poor and the simple people who pay for the greed of others but I think that is the ame the world over? I miss my friend April very much who has return to her home. I think she have her heart set on someone but she is keeping that close to herself with only a little giggle each time I ask her. I think maybe she do not want to jinks her self by telling anyone what is in her heart.

Family Obligations

It is close to being the start of the new school year with my brother Jimboy preparing for his 3rd year of college. Jimboy is the 3rd child in our family and the 2nd son. He is studying vetenarian science the same course as my other brother Robert who has already graduated college one year already. I supported Robert his 4 years of college and now I also support Jimboy, as the eldest child in Filipino culture that is my sacrifice and obligation. I pay there college fees plus books and pay for additional courses or assignments when they need thru out the year. I also support my youngest cousin for college who is studying teaching, she is already in her 2nd year. You can see her in my myspace photo albums, she is the really beautiful girl with dark skin in the black bikini. I love supporting my brothers schooling because I know they and there future families will have a better life because of my help now. It is a very satisfying feeling knowing that you have made the life of a child of the future a little easier even though that child has not even been born yet or even thought of, none of my brothers are married although Jimboy have pretty girlfriend!
