Tomorrow Is Tera Big Day

I cannot believe it today is the last day of August. Tomorrow is my sisters Tera birthday. Her birthday is the 1st of September. This afternoon I will go and buy her a birthday gift and tomorrow I will get her a birthday cake. mmmm masarap (delicious) She has been walking around dropping hints for a whole week what she wants me to buy her. If I buy everything she wants I would need to be the President of the Philippines and very rich. hehehe
I envy my sister sometimes, she always acts like their is no tomorrow, only important is today. We are very different like that I always worry about our future but not Tera she happy for today Here is a beautiful picture of my sister, i hope you enjoy.

Rain Rain Rain

It is rainy season here in the Philippines and all Sunday and all day today it has been raining very torrential, I just hope it is not like last year when we got flooded out, I say a little prayer for that every night before I sleep.

Banana's and other Fruits

Last night once again was a lot fun. I really enjoy the banana blow job contest that the bar puts on every week. It is so funny to watch. And I really enjoyed the pizza they had for snacks. mmmm masarap!
My friend who is married to the America one of her friends was angry to her American boyfriend coz she think he was with another girl the day before so their was a little drama and a little tears but I think it was mostly drama because the girlfriend was drunk. I only drank mango juice because I did not feel like drinking alcohol but I still had a lot fun and so much laughing except for when the girl was drama:-)

Weekly night out

Tonight once again I am going out with friends for our weekly barhopping. It is the one night a week that I really enjoy coz I am with good friends and I get to really relaxes and have fun. I also look forward to the free snacks that some of the bars put on with the entertainment. I really enjoy the pizza. Hey I am a filipina, we love food hehehe. http://www.keiralee.com

The World Was Watching

The fall out over Monday hostage massacre is still happening all the media here and the politician are condemning the police for their incompetence and calling for mass sackings of the police who where in command but here in the Philippines it is so corrupt I am sure their will be public announcement by the politicians and the police but in reality not much will change. The whole world was shocked by the police mishandling and now China and Hongkong have ordered all the citizen home and have banned any of their citizen from travelling to the Philippines. My country will now suffer even more coz with more then 20 countries telling their citizen it is not safe to travel to the Philippines. I am sure our tourist industry has now gone down the toilet because of what happen and the incompetence that the police showed.

Hostage Drama

Last night I was shocked while I was watching TV and the hostage drama in Manila. I could not belive how bad the police where and how incompetent. They made the Philippines look like a joke. I just feel so sorry for all the people who got hurt and killed. It was just a waste and I am sure if the police where more professional then many people would have been saved.
This Sunday I will light a candle for the victims when I attend mass.
It was so sad and so terrible to watch.

Boracay

I just want to say to all my friends if you get the chance to go to Boracay then please do, it is so beautiful their. The water is so clear and clean you can see the bottom even if 100 mtrs from the land on a boat and I was surprised how cheap it was especially the food, the accommodation though can be expensive but if you take the time to look around you can find some really nice places that will not blow the budget.. It is so beautiful. The beach has white sand and the places to eat right their on the beach where so delicious. My brother and his girlfriend and me had all you can eat bbq sea food including prawns and oysters for just 300 peso each sitting right their on the beach and the entertainment was great, they had filipino fire twirlers their twirling fire above their head and every where else, it was amazing but about 10pm most places start to close as it is more for honey mooners and families, It was the first time that I had seen so many foreigners with their families mostly here in the Philippines you see just foreigners who are married to a filipina but at Boracay their are many American, Australian and European men with their American, Australian and European wife and kids, it was great watching how they all interact together and I notice some very beautiful white girls where sun bathing topless. wow I never see that before!
Their are no girly bars and my advice is if you decide to go then make sure you have a girl with you before going their.   I had a great time and hope to go back again maybe next year for my brothers wedding.

MY BROTHER

Tomorrow I am going to visit my brother who is 2nd oldest, he is next to me. I put him threw college with much work and sacrifice. He has a girlfriend in Ilioilo province where he now lives and works. The girls family are putting pressure on my brother to marry their daughter soon. Because he comes from Negros they think maybe he already have wife and family that is why he has not ask their daughter to marry him. My brother wants me to come to Iloilo and meet his girlfriend and her family so that they know he is sincere to their daughter but he wants to work and save more money before getting married.
In the provinces filipinos are very conservative and deeply religious. They do not like it if you live together before marriage so my brother needs my help but I am not happy with my brother for doing that ether. I have never been to Iloilo so I am looking forward to see what it is like. I will be their only for 3 nights before I return home and back to work.

The Day After

Last night was such a great night I was so happy for the both of them. Their of course was plenty of beer and food. But like I said I not believe that the girl only have 8 relatives coming. Last night maybe close to 50 filipinos come to the party. hehehe
I know filipinos hehe
They will never miss out on free food and alcohol. The Australian put 5000 pesos on the bar for everyone to drink and when that ran out all the filipinos went home except the sister of the girl getting engaged. Her and all the foregners and their wives and girlfriends and myself went barhopping together until about midnight. It was a great night but I was happy to get home as I had been awake since 5am that morning.

The Big Engagement

Tonight I am going to engagement party of my filipina friends husbands friend. Wow that was a mouthful hehehe
I have met both the filipina and the Australian 4 or 5 times I actually know the Australian better then the filipina. He met who while she was working in the bar, she seems to be a lovely girl but it is hard to tell when you hardly know someone. I am sure it will be a great night it is suppose to be only a small celebration with about 8 foreigners and their wives and girlfriends and me plus on the girl side she said she only has 8 relatives coming but I will believe that when I see it. I know filipinos when their is a celebration and their is free foods they are like ants. hehehe

Brownouts, Swimming Pools and Barber Shops

Another brown out today from 8am to 5pm I am so over these brown outs but the day was not a total waste, my sister and I met one of our friends who has a two yr old little boy and we all went to a resort close to our home and spent the day playing in the swimming pool with my friends little boy. I love him so much he is just so much fun to be with. He is such a good little boy he never cries, he is always smiling or laughing. My sister and I where like two little mama's playing with him all day and afterwards we went with my friend to get him a hair cut. He sat their like a little soldier until the barber was finished cutting his hair and coz he was such a good little boy I buy him an ice cream and my sister Tera and I gave him a big kiss each. He loved the ice cream but did not like the kiss. hehe

My Sister and Me

A pinch and a punch for the first day of the month. hehehe
Just went to mass this morning and and for lunch my sister and I went to a calinderia for lunch. We had spaghetti and chicken adobo with rice and we also have some bbq. Masarap
