Today we have been preparing for our New Years Eve party that my sister, cousin and I have been invited too. Here in the Philippines New Years Eve is a major event with nearly every family no matter how poor they are will buy fireworks. When it is close to 12 o'clock the noise will be deafening in most barangays and streets from the noise of the fireworks. We did not buy any fireworks because we are going to a resort called Dreamland and I have heard that they put on a great New Year show, I cannot wait until 6pm that is when we are being picked up by my friend and her husband.
