Cory Aquino

Today is a holiday in the Philippines because our former president Cory Aquino is to be buried today. I have so much respect for her because she was very brave lady. When our country was in so much trouble she stood up to a tyrant and won. People Power is celebrated every year here. But even when she very sick she show so much courage. I wish I could be like the other half million Filipinos and say good bye to her as she makes her last journey home to her beloved husband. But I stay home because it is still raining so hard here in my place. I watch the funeral on TV and I am so proud that Filipinos do such a beautiful ceremony for the whole world to see. I don't know much about her presidency because I am not born at that time but everyone knows about how brave she was after her husband was assassinated by Marcos henchmen. As I am watching her last farewell I cannot stop the tears that fall down my face. Sorry if I get to serious today. I just wanted to share my feelings with you. Until next time god bless always.
